Source: The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) -- Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Thursday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home for Mrs. Lucile H. Ost, 80, a life resident of Covington. She died at 9:45 a.m. yesterday (Feb. 11, 1969) at the Danville Care Nursing Home. She had been a patient there since June 1967 and had been seriously ill two months. Born Nov. 12, 1888, in Covington, she was the daughter of Nathan and Zoe Moore Harlow. She was married Dec. 7, 1910, to H. Gordon Ost, who died Jan, 1, 1943. Survivors include a son, Robert of Barrington, Ill.; a brother, Leslie Harlow of San Antonio, Tex.; three grandchildren, and a nephew. Mrs. Ost graduated frrom Covington High in 1906. Her husband established the old soda shop in Covington and they operated it for many years. Mrs. Ost was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Richard Henry Lee DAR Chapter, Alpha Gamma Associate Chapter of Tri-kappa, Woman's Club and Bookovers Club. The Rev. P. J. Hamilton will officiate at services. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home.   -- typed by Walt W
